As a child growing up in London, I remember looking out of the back window of my mum’s Fiat 500 and feeling incredibly fortunate to call this place home. I didn’t have the words then. But the parks, the thousand-year history woven into the architecture, and the hills that open suddenly onto views across this beast of a city left their mark.
In 2022, I made my own small contribution to the city’s cultural life by starting a series of supper clubs around London. I hope to do more soon.
After university, I spent two years building collate.org, a place for people to write digital letters to one another in public. As sexy as that sounds, it didn’t work. But I learnt a great deal. I then did stints at Winkreative, because I love design, and in investment advisory, because I’ve long admired Warren Buffett, Charlie Munger and the worldly wisdom of value investing—timeless principles for business as much as life.
I got an MBA from INSEAD in July 2026 and now work in the go-to-market team at Bending Spoons.
